A great family run hotel with fab food. Reasonably large guest room, comfortable beds. Well-equipped bathroom with a bathtub. Location not far from a local restaurant, southern Portugal, and castle and olive oil. Also, to see the the area. Lovely pool, parking nearby. Everything good. Unforgettable experience there.

The attitude of the family that run the hotel, they were very helpful and did all they could to make you feel at home. The result was a very relaxed stress free stay. The layout of the hotel, furniture, decoration etc, was designed with the comfort of the guests in mind and was very successsful.

I would not think of going to Portugal and missing this gem of a hotel. The owners are fantastic and helped us to order our meal at a local restaurant. (they even phoned up to check what was on the menu. The rooms are beautifully decorated and there are few hotels that can offers genuine archaeological finds on view in the reception area. Wine can be from the winery next door and you cannot get much more locally sourced than that. The owner gave us loads of tips on the rest of our stay in Portugal and really made our visit the best one yet.

The hotel was charming with many traditional artifacts on display. The room was large and well furnished with a good sized bathroom. Very small but pretty pool area.
On arrival we were told they did not have our reservation. This was rectified after a phone call but was not the most promising welcome. The gentleman on reception did do his best to reassure us and we were allocated a room and offered a drink. He was also extremely helpful later with providing directions and advice on good restaurants.

We had a delightful stay at Betica Hotel in Pias. Pedro and his family made us feel incredibly welcome, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Pedro, in particular, impressed us with his knowledge of football and his skills in making the best Gin and Tonic we've ever had. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh pastries and fruit. The small pool was a refreshing treat after a long journey, and the hotel's location was perfect for exploring nearby towns and villages. We would definitely use this hotel again and highly recommend it to others.
We do recommend this hotel.
